March of Empires: Strategy MMO App Reviews

So I usually dont write negative reviews.. But this really deserves it. You build and get stronger while the higher level castles farm you. You try to go higher but seems like its an everyday thing. You look for other options lets say another realm. You cant. After your castle reaches level 7, like way earlier in the game before you know anything. Guess what youre stuck in a rock and a tough place. This higher level crap beating on lower ones gets old. Hence why theres so many dead players in the realms.. What else gets old.. These guys have multiple accounts!!! In multiple realms.. I start to wonder if these guys also play for the developers. Lol.. If youre about a true gaming experience I hope these guys (developers) change some things and make it worth while for you to play. Other wise a credit card is all the developers will ultimately care about.

What trys to pass for a game here is pretty much a dreadful clone of other games like this that abound on the App Store. There are serious problems with Hacking/Exploits and Cheating that do not seem to be acted on in any way. Apple should pull this game Im going to be very direct and hope this does not get censored and Im responsible for everything I write here. This problem is becoming too widespread and it borders on fraud the people hacking and exploiting are committing crimes against the developer who has shown no effort to address this and the players who make purchases suffer losses because of this though Apple and the developer profit financially from it. This one game in its current incarnation fails on many levels. The notifications do not work so you will receive no warnings or notices of attack. The mail, chat and most game systems are buggy and do not work so when you are attacked good luck trying to find who did it so you can attack back like any decent war game. Some players can scout and attack through shields again support is useless in either making things right or fixing the bug/hack/exploit. My advice for now if you dislike frustration wait till the developer updates the game so that it has some basic war game playability and the cheating is addressed in a meaningful way.

Has good graphics but a little confusing

Ive been playing this game for over a 2 weeks now better then most of the other Strategy game out in the App Store if you have a good alliance and willing to take the time out of youre day to play this game, only thing I hate about this game is the higher level players attacking the lower levels just for the hell of it or either to raid them for their Resource, other than that the game is playable not much bugs either, just write what ever came to my mind

The game play is good, this is a game where you do have to pay to play for the most part, to be competitive. But if you dont mind starting off and taking your time. You can play this game and not pay a dime and Itd still be competitive, join the right alliance etc, its best to check the game out for yourself.

The game slowing after 4-5 min. of playing, every update got problems and took long to fix it! We need old camps for equipements

So there are a few things I would like to touch on. Most of them being the things that need the most to be tweaked or changed. So the random crafting system seems to be the only viable way to get new gear because the crafting is far to hard to do, as well as upgrading is quite costly and with little reward. Need some balancing there. Next thing I would like to touch on is that high level players are easily rolling over new players. A lot of people just gave up because there are a few super powers that love farming lower level castles. My solution would be instead of different worlds, have different ranks or tiers. The rank or tier youre in is decided by your castle level maybe? One more thing is, there should be an extra building slot available. I dont know if there is one way later in the game that I havent gotten yet but either way it should be accessible by level 10 or 15. Or have the amount of buildings you can construct and level up based on how many workshops you have and their level? Make them more important? Things I do like about the game is the season changes, granting bonuses. Only thing is it should say clearly what the season is providing bonus wise. I also like the daily quests, it allows players to discover new things and get gold from it which I think is very beneficial to the game. If you would like to get more feedback, my ign is Viklor.
